Question about stone.
« on: June 09, 2009, 09:11:01 pm »

Is there a way to make a layer that doesn't drop stones, but is smoothable like a stone layer would be?

Urist Austin, Axedwarf.  A dwarf barely alive.  Gentledwarves, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic dwarf. Urist Austin will be that dwarf. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

I once made a tile of stone that yielded no stone but could be smoothed by giving that type of stone an [ENVIRONMENT_SPECIAL] location and the [SOIL_SAND] tag.  It might also work if you give it a stone layer type, such as igneous extrusive or whatever.
