Your school has a gun club?  A school where I live expelled a kid for owning a gun.  He didn't even bring it to school.

Not a gun club, riflery squad. You have to take (I think it's 1) a year of JROTC before you can join though. Also, how the fuck did they get permission to expel somebody for owning a gun? That's just plain stupid. They might as well expel me for owning bladed weapons and knowing martial arts.

Yup, it and the OICW are both shelved forever. Just too damn expensive.

Also, the M16 was one of the worlds worst rifles at one time. Though the current version is much improved. Even at it's worse though it was better than the L6A2.

Currently? As in experimental development? Nothing to my knowledge. At least not an assault rifle. Were kinda just getting by with the M4.

Don't expect to see another project for a better assault rifle to appear again for some time too. Though it'll probably happen, at some point.
