2 Dungeon masters

while my fort was recovering from a tantrum spiral i had a message pop up saying a dungeon master arrived with the new wave of immigrants. i thought that must have meant my old one was dead but turns out he is alive and kicking. i now have 2 dungeon masters. i did a quick search and couldent find anything on this. is it normal?

This is only my second fortress to attain 1 dungeon master. most of my forts recently have involved heavy use of Tweak and reveal so it crashed every few seconds.

Nice! maybe they will duel to the death for the position. :D

You should make a copy of your gamefolder and send it to Toady1 after you post a bugreport.

it was a clean install of 40d13. it seems like my original dungeon master was either melencholy or insane because he died of thirst about 2 game months after the new one arrived. he wasnt actually marked insane or melencholy though and im sure he wasnt injured at some point either. so still confused.

Perfectly normal behaviour then.
A dungeon master in the 'homes sensed a job opening and came calling.
