I can't even play Wurm cause of graphics card issues.

This game has/had a lot of potential.  It could have been a lot better though.

For one, I think that things rotted too fast.  I also think there ought to have been more things to kill, just to take a break from build, gather, rinse, repeat....

I recently got an email from wurm.  Basically seemed to say home server is going out the window, and that If I don't renew my premium soon and move to one of the new servers my char will be transferred to wild server.  (which of course is also premium only)

I need to mess around with the game a little bit before I decide to rebuy premium, that's the way it worked every time I came back.  By forcing me to buy premium before I can mess around and let the nostalgia and my skills capped at 1/3rd their values kick in, they're pretty much insuring that I will never play again.

Didn't always agree with Rolf's decisions(and that playing on home server pretty much meant that folks could do everything they can do to you on wild, just yer not allowed to do anything back) but the game was an addictive timesink.  I'll miss it.

I need to mess around with the game a little bit before I decide to rebuy premium, that's the way it worked every time I came back.
Though that was only the case on the one server.  Wild, MR-H, and now Freedom have been premium-only.  I can't see why, now that we have the portals, which are premium-only to begin with, he can't throw the premium-to-log-in requirement out the window and let returning players sample the new updates capped at 20 skill, just like old times, before buying..

Since you have had premium, your character along with whatever is in his inventory will be moved to Wild when the Home servers go out to the window (supposedly today).
You can always1 make a new character on the free-to-play server to mess around with the game before you decide it's worth the premium and buy it on your old char, who will never be deleted.
That's what I plan on doing if I quit, anyway.
1There is no limit to the number of characters you can have as far as I know.  I have 5.  2 on Freedom, 2 on Golden Valley (free to play server) and one is on JK-H without premium, so that number will be reduced to 4 soon enough.
