Really?  Because bronze collosi usually, you know, beat you to death in seconds.  And don't get tired... I find that backing away just gives non tired enemies another chance to hit.

I suggest this.
Code: [Select]
[ITEM_WEAPON:ITEM_WEAPON_FLAYER]
[NAME:FLAYER:FLAYERS]
[DAMAGE:200:PIERCING]
[WEIGHT:50]
[SKILL:SWORD]
[CRIT_BOOST:15]
[TWO_HANDED:4]
[MINIMUM_SIZE:4]
[MATERIAL_SIZE:3]
why sword skill? Also a crit boost of 15? overkill?

Then shouldn't it be a pike or spear?

Yeah, really.

He couldn't hit me when I moved away because I was too fast.  I was naturally faster than him but I had also broken both of his ankles early in the fight while wrestling.  I could only do that after I had thrown him to the ground, and kept throwing him down, even then I had to lock three or four times before I could make the break.

Once I took out both his ankles I would literally stand on top of him while stabbing him until I would get tired then I would move away for a little while and then return.  I eventually got a crit that took off his head and ending the fight.  Honestly, I didn't think I could kill him like that but wanted to train my spear, shield, and armor skills up more.

I stopped playing that adventurer because the queen disappeared when I went to return the quest to kill the colossus, I think I still have the save for it though.

EDIT: I found the save just before I took on the colossus.  I have now beaten it three times.  The first two times following basically the same strategy as before with about the same results(one upper body crit and one lower body crit each ends the fight).  But just now I dropped my spear and took it on with only my wrestling skill and my shield...I won and have yet to even be hurt by this thing.  Anyone want the save?

I like to use spiky balls.
Flails work nicely too.
I modded them to deal gore damage.
You can loot one off a goblin apparently.

Good idea?

A one-handed godblade that does gore damage and has a five-thousand point damage.

Better yet, a throwable sammich.
Made of adamantine and awesome.

You just gave me an idea. I think I'm going to mod in an ore of awesome that can be smelted to either pure awesome, or a number of awesome alloys.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

Yeah, probably, but who doesn't want the ore of cool, or a gem of awesome?

I want to mod a revolver now. Quickdraw on the pesky archers. Blast their heads of with S&W500 rounds. -_-
