In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

The eighth of October isn't "mid-October", and it's definitely not "late October".

I may have. Maybe have. Probably have. Urinated when I saw there was a news post concerning the gigapause.
Upon reading it fully, the urine re-entered my bladder with a kind of depressed sigh.

There's a new SBaHJ today in response to that.

Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

That frog has Li'l Cal's eyes.

Make it stop.

QUICKLY GUYS ANALYSE THE COMIC WHY AREN'T YOU READING INTO IT???

Well obvious one is the frog, a universe presumably. Sw... uh... blue one (shit forgot which is which. I blame the hiatus) is either Calibron or Lord English (or both because why not), partly because of messing with frogs and partly because of that expression and attitude. Frogging is I guess about destroying the universe or universes, in paradox space which is the pond.
The net is either the ultimate weapon or a juju (or both which is also possible I mean who knows), and its descent to the clam is representative of whatever journey it went on to get into the chest where Vriska found it. Nautical themes yo.

The frog has blue eyes.
John has blue eyes.
The frog is John
Lil Cal is John
All characters appearing in Homestuck, probably including AH, and especially including Vriska, are John wearing an IMPENETRABLE DISGUISE.
When trying to impersonate the entire cast during the boss fight the concentration of fake moustaches will reach critical level.

There is another SbaHJ now.

The clam is... ?

Hussie is fucking with us, because that's what he does best.

Also, the clam has green eyes.

Symbolism?
