Can someone point me to the page that mentions Lord English? Because I only remember a "Demon" with no name attached.

I believe Mr. Scratch mentions him.

Shazam, white text guy yeah.  Lord English was also what Spades Slick called the boss of the Felt, but without the billiard ball gif.

I wonder why he chose Lord British though? I'm assuming it's a homage to the Lord British found in Ultima games.

It is, as he can only be killed by unstable time loops and such, much in the same way Lord British of Ultima was only killable by glitch.

EDIT: Also, yet more Troll love that will likely be a thorn in our sides the rest of the act. I still support Vriska+Tavros, and I still hate myself on a level that I usually reserve for the most loathsome and terrible of people for shipping to begin with.

Actually, I don't have a link for it, but in one of Hussie's Q/A threads, he mentioned that.  Originally, "Lord English" was just one more billiards reference, but when someone pointed out the "Lord British Postulate" connection after he started calling English an indestructible daemon.  He praised himself for making a reference he didn't even realize and said "yeah, lets go with that".

Wonder if Andrew will show some good ole battle scene. I kinda want to see Nepata use those claws!

Like Bro's shades, it wasn't until someone brought it up. Now, yes, it is also a Lord British reference.

Also Lord English is just a huge goddamn badass name, you know?

Somehow Lord British is pretentious as hell, but Lord English is just totally badass.

I'm pretty sure Andrew Hussie was an even bigger nerd in some past life, because he keeps making these damn reference without realizing it.

Probably not until the Act 5 finale, which means we get showdowns with each of their Denizens. (And since they've managed to kill their Denizens, presumably one-on-one, Terezi is definitely right when she tells Dave that the trolls are a lot higher on their Echeladders than the kids.)

Yeah, so far it's been Rose, Kanaya, and Feferi. Actually, it's a recurring theme. Character tastes something...

BLUH

Except in this case it's GLUB.

Does anyone read upside-down Daedric? Is that, in fact, a can of underwater Tab?

John was first, actually. As seen here. Though I think this last Feferi panel was a bit forced. Only like a week after Kanaya's, and he threw in the THIS IS STUPID text too. Feeling a bit 'vocabulary'-overdosed.
