Signup details can be found below.Ever since I did the Morul/Ironblood Matchups in the Nist Akath thread, I have been considering starting a colliseum thread. Warriors of Armok: Magma of Life finally gave me the idea on how I could execute it. Thanks to BloodBeard for letting me use his equipment pricing and open a competing thread.
I figured that my 10x40 rectangle wasn't really interesting enough to have a total deathmatch tournament, so with the help of slave labor and illegally acquired materials, I finally finished construction of the great Dwarf Memorial Stadium.
It doesn't show up in 3Dwarf, but the entire arena is constructed from Green Glass.
Deadliest Dwarf does not focus on equipment as much as it does on skill. This arena has different rules:
Each character gets 1500☼ to spend on skills and equipment. Every victory increases your rank by 1 and grants you an additional (rank x 400)☼. Values of goods and services are listed below.
100☼ buys you one point. Every 3 skill levels gains you one random attribute point. In order to buy a high-level skill, you must first own the lower levels of the skill. This means that if you want a level 6 Maceman skill right off the bat, it would cost you (100☼ + 200☼ + 300☼ + 400☼ + 500☼ + 600☼) = 2100☼. However, if you are a level 4 maceman and want to upgrade, it would only cost you (500☼ + 600☼) = 1100☼.
While all metals are provided, standard is the only level of equipment allowed. This allows for longer fights and better game balance.
While I'm not picky, I've grown tired of nakedness. You must wear at least one piece of armor. Armor == chest or leg protection. Additionally, the protective value of armor has been increased enough to be effective. Also, keep in mind that cheaper metals are heavier (you can check this in the raws).

Signups for the current tournament are closed, but any who post a fighter shall be placed on the waiting list. Please post your fighter name, inventory, skills, and fighting style (you don't have to get too in-depth, but give me something to work with).
Each round of the tournament will be a multi-battle showcase. Automation allows for me to play out many, many battles to determine who is truly deadliest. In the end of each round, the loser is eliminated from the game entirely. Players are always allowed to revive dead characters, but they will be moved to the end of the waiting list, so as to give everyone a fair chance to compete.
