Ranged weapons

I don't know about firearms, but an extended selection of ranged weapons would be nice, especially if we can set the secondary weapon for our troopers.  Throwing axes, in particular would be nice.  Hurled weapons in general were a very effective tactic to soften an infantry charge or defenders you were charging.I'm almost certain someone's already suggested this, but I didn't see it, so I figured I'd drop my .02 in
