I would like to have a practice duel with tom
Actions: Close-in, Aim for limbs (looking to disable the opponent), keep at max range of my spear.  If he gets in close, Kick him back.

Okay. Do you want the way I did it for evilmonk or more like a traditional RTD. Since it's training, it won't be lethal to just go on autopilot.

I like the auto-pilot Idea it makes things go alot faster, I think you should stick with  it.

Get to spear range

(4) You advance and are just outside reach of your spear

(2) He slips and finds himself inside the ideal spear range.

Stab joint

(2) You stab at Tom but your grip wasn't tight enough. The spear slips in your hand, (5) but you keep hold of it and get a better grip

(4) He is close enough to touch you, but you bacck up just far enough that he can't grapple

(3) You kick at Tom, aiming to knock him back, but he just takes the kick

(6) In a feat of WWE badassery, you flip Tom over you, breaking both his grip and one of his arms. The few spectators love this awesome move, and they give you a standing ovation. (3+2=5) Tom is knocked out from the force of hitting the ground. Due to training rules, the fight is declared over and Tom is brought to the hospital area.
You get a level in wrestling from that awesome move. The spectators who bothered to watch a training battle throw coins upon you, and you pick up 100 gold from the ground.

I saw the 6 in "break free" and couldn't resist the WWE move. You were lucky that he rolled a 1 on the "hurt Roko" and you got a 6 in "break loose". That above average luck gave you a boost methinks. Just know that if you didn't get so lucky and he got you to a futile point in a real duel, your charisma:0 would cause a surrender to autofail and he executes you immediately.

That was freaking epic, I would like to have another practice duel with someone.
Close into range, keep at spear range, Strike at opponent, (I would say vitals but it is training), If he gets to close use my spear put him in a choke hold and bash him with the hilt of my spear (or my fists).

And what is my level?

Still 1, but the two who fought in battles are closer. It might take a few.

After resting up a bit (that epic move took a lot, considering the guy was fully armored), Roko decides to do some more training. ((OOC: Time to test the first magic user))

(1) Stumbles and hits the ground.

(2) The energy for the spell dissipates as he tries to cast it.

(3) He gets up and stumbles

(3) This time, he successfully casts the spell, but briefly loses focus, causing it to miss

(6) The spell is done perfectly, and Roko gets severe frostbite on his ears. -1 to Roko's perception for the duel.

Advance and spear the man

(4) You get a little closer and hit him in the left arm. Blood is drawn, but nothing severe.

(5) The wound closes up well. Energy is getting low

(1) You charge wildly with your spear, but John dodges easily. -1 to dodging his attack

Hit Roko with staff

(2-1=1) The squishy caster doesn't have very strong arms, and he lets go of the staff

(6) Your spear tears through his left arm muscles, then you whack him on the head (2+2(low enemy endurance and armor)), causing him to hit the ground, unconcious. As before, he is taken to the hospital area.

Hmm... Pure mages seem a little underpowered right now. I'll figure something out to buff them up. Part of it could be above average resistance for Roko. Roko gets most of the way to spear level 3, and is ~2-3 training fights from level 2.

you wanna test a archer or weapon user on me? feel free to test away, I don't care if I have a few training losses on my record.  Or pump up the mage and have a rematch, either way I'll use the same tactic as before.
