This may or may not be a bug, but should a car remain in my vehicle inventory if the squad (consisting of a single person) that last used it was killed during their (her) last site action?

Seems to me that car would have been recovered by the police after something like that.

In case anyone is wondering, I kidnapped them (not datenapping - direct kidnapping) and then brainwashed them in order to get animal recruits.

Yay!  I finally won!  Christ, that took quite a while.  Well, I suppose once there were 50 L+ senators (allowing any liberalisation to go through the house) it was in the bag.

Wait, um, is Human Rights in the offical LCS version? I thought Human Rights are only in the Stalinist build. (You likely aren't using the Stalinist build because I don't see Health Care but...check tab Issue B.)

Looking at the source code, it seemed that "Human Rights" actually represent Law_Torture. The "Human Rights" I thought of was the law in the Stalinist verson that determines American views towards human right violators. So I just got confused, that's all.

It does make the current L+ law for Torture a little strange though: "The country is respected as an international leader on Moral Interrogation Practices." Admittingly, I wrote that to make it different from "Human Rights" law.
