Plump Helmet: Innocent name or Phal*ic menace?
« on: September 04, 2009, 08:41:56 pm »

Me and my dad were having a conversation on DF, when, for one reason or antother, Plump helmets came up. He made me aware of a very odd circumstance.

Plump Helmet. Do you get it? :o I think toady may have chosen this name, not realizing the weird stuff that happens in a teenager (and my dads) mind.

Dorfs eat plump helmets. Ugh

off topic, how do I make this a poll?

If your hanglybits look like purple mushrooms, you should probably see a doctor.

Yes, actually, I am trying to get myself banned.  I wish Toady would quit working on this worthless piece of junk and go back to teaching math.

I laughed out loud when I found out that the Spanish word for "mushroom" is "champiñón".

I think "Plump Helmet" is a medical condition that only occurs with champions.

Considering the balls they have to earn such a position, one could not be too shocked. This in turn could cause them to become testy fun guys.

inversely, there's an entire branch of the mushroom family whose scientific name is the latin word for "phallus".

See, a plump helmet in dwarf fortress looks like an ace.

If your penis looks like an ace, and it's not just a metaphor, then go see a doctor. If it's purple, run.

Man, I wanted to make a straight flush joke there but I couldn't figure out how to work it in.

actually, the plump helmet only looks like an ace of spades. The ace of clubs is used for trees, the hearts for dimple cups, and the diamonds for cut gems.

I see. Either way, get your dong to a doctor if it's decided to start doing impressions of the ace of spades. That never leads to anything good.

As my illustration clearly shows, there is nothing phallic about plump helmets.
