Demon rat, can I tame?

I just caught a demon rat in one of my animal traps. What can I do with it? The wiki says they pretty much will wreck up my place so im a little hesitant to bring it indoors.

Uhg, never mind, a fucking soap maker made a mad dash for it the second it was in the animal storage and ate it.

I am building his death chamber as we speak.

I was pleased when I first discovered my dwarves pulling an Ozzy Osbourne with live fire snakes.

Wait, wouldn't that cause severe mouth damage?
Or are firesnakes not actually snakes made of heat?

all dwarves have heat resistant mouths. this resistance spreads to the rest of the body if they work in magma powered workshops.
