I am some what afraid of plants

Is it normal to be afraid due to  video game  exposure? I am afraid of some plants because of headcrab zombies ( HL1 style replace brusting limbs with veins and flower heads) and other games that have harmful plants eg.stranded 2

Yes, some degree of paranoia is normal, but once you get to my level of preparedness, then it isn't good.

Basically the normal test for this sort of thing is the question: "Is it affecting your normal life?"
Do you take steps to avoid headcrab looking plants?

See I have a house full of guns, if someone comes 'round here I just blow heads off. Gotta love Arizona and its least strictest gun laws and best self defense laws in the nation besides Texas!

But seriously, headcrabs aren't plants where did you get that idea from?

I mean, if you're going to be afraid of something, at least be afraid of fungus, at least that's based on reality.

 Ah, the memories of my first week after getting addicted to TF2. My back would never be to an open space, and never to anybody ever. And I would make an effort to always be in motion in large open areas.

 But yes, as long as it is just subtle paranoia and not full-blown "I can't go outside because my lawn will eat me" fear, then it should pass.

I'm intensely terrified of zombies, to the point where I had a nervous breakdown 2 Halloweens ago upon seeing someone dressed up really well.
