Questions/Suggestions here!

What happens if multiple MAIN attacks are added? Talking along the lines of 6 or 7 or 8 and can creatures be offered more realistic wrestling options?

If I start with Bulbasaur/Venusaur/Ivysaur - For example.

Their vines could be set to [liMB] (Usable in wrestling)

Then they could have two Vine Whip attacks. One with the standard BLUDGEON and [ATTACKFLAG_CANLATCH] (Similar to the way xsaur wraps their vines around an opponent and slams them into the floor) (One for LVINE/RVINE of course)
The second would be a SLASH type for an actual vine WHIP. (Same again. One for LVINE/RVINE)

This would give them 4 MAIN attacks: Vine Whip Slam L+R and Vine Whip Whip L+R.

My knowledge of modding attacks gets a little hazy at this point, but you could also set the BULB part to have a Razor Leaf slashing attack on Ivysaur for example with something like [BODYGLOSS:POKE_BULB_IVY:bulb:flower] (unfortunately we can't use flowery bulb due to recursion) or by creating a new [BP:FLOWERYBULB...] for ivysaur to use.

Then you could add [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTOKEN:{FLOWERY}BULB:razor leaf:fires razor leaves at:2:4:SLASH][ATTACKFLAG_WITH] for a simple razor leaf attack.

Then finally you get to Venusaur and you could have another [BODYGLOSS:POKE_BULB_VENU:bulb:massive flower] and then use [EXTRACT_STUN_INTERMITTENT] with [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTOKEN:BULB:stun spore:fires stun spores at:1:1:BLUDGEON][ATTACKFLAG_WITH][SPECIALATTACK_INJECT_EXTRACT:50:100] which will allow it to use the Stun Spore attack and [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTOKEN:BULB:leech seed:fires leech seeds at:1:1:PIERCE][ATTACKFLAG_WITH][SPECIALATTACK_SUCK_BLOOD:50:100] which means it will also use a Leech Seed attack.

Of course this would load Venusaur up with four Vine Whips (L/R Bludgeon, L/R Slash), Razor Leaf (Slash), Stun Spore (Weak stun, 1:1 bludgeon) and Leech Seed (Suck blood, 1:1 pierce) for a total of seven MAIN attacks. This isn't including anything like adding Solarbeam to Venusaur from it's Massive Flower which could add up to an eigth attack (for BURN/HEAT damage).

Finally - Any plans on adding more detail to the body parts?

Thing such as toes (with a BODYGLOSS for toe:claw) and fingers would be nifty (if only cosmetic) touches.

Just to see how it was to create bodies for Pokémon I did a basic set of body parts for just a bulbasaur:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Giving Bulbasaur a fairly detailed:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Standard Pokémon head with all "standard" parts; that assumes a head with 2 eyes, 2 ears, nose, mouth, throat, neck, brain which will be transposable onto... Well, anything and everything really. BODYGLOSS for changing thing like noses into snouts, mouths into maws etc. Same with standard upper and lower bodies that almost all Pokés can use. Then the non-standard legs: From what I've seen Bulbasaur doesn't have a knee/elbow joint in the middle of it's leg, but has shoulders. It has rear legs with a knee and a hip. Then you slam on two front feet and two rear feet with a BODYGLOSS foot:paw. Each foot has 3 claws, so you use 3 toes [CONTYPE:STANCE] and BODYGLOSS toe:claw.

There you go, one bulbasaur fully kitted out with a plethora of internal organs and useless appendages. 3 claws on each foot, no knees on the front legs, knees and hips on the rear legs, a standard upper and lower body, standard head with snout etc. and as few outside dependancies for joints and organs as possible (So you don't inadvertantly forget to equip you Pokés with a brain or internal organs. Just designate the required body parts and all the joints and organs are a part of it naturally.)

Anyway, looking good so far!

Oh, and reading back: With regards to the [BODY:RATWHISKERS] (And nearly killing a Raticate by slopping it's whiskers off) you could always use the [DIGIT] (Applied in Vanilla to fingers/toes) and [SMALL] tags.

I'd assume DIGIT makes cutting the darn things off a little less deadly. [SMALL] means they're able to be pinched in wrestling (to cause large amounts of pain).

You can still pinch digits, I think. I remember pinching toes.

There's a few ways to make unwrestable whiskers, but they'd be needlessly complicated. Just make them small.

Example:

Attach whiskers to an internal organ or orifice.

Um, thanks! I just have to note a few things.

1. If I did that for every single pokemon, it would take me many times longer than what it is now.
2. Once I'm done actually releasing them all and have finished with it, then will be time to refine it. If you don't consider it realistic enough yet, then just pretend it's a placeholder.

(Also 3, some of the unreleased pokemon have much more detailed bodies than earlier ones.)

I was thinking pinching the whiskers to cause large amounts of pain would actually be a feature rather than a side-effect. Go up to a big dog like a german shepherd IRL and pinch it's whiskers, I dare you :<

It won't be happy >.>

And if I'm correct: All digits (at the moment) have the [SMALL] tag in addition to [DIGIT] with regards to Vanilla.

And another edit: My post was in no way criticising, just suggesting, questioning and wondering. I don't know the effects of racking up 8 MAIN attacks but it would certainly spice things up if Venusaur had vampiric attacks with leech seed, was able to slash with vines as well as bludgeon, could burn razor leaf attacks out to slash some more and could melt your face with a 10:20 solarbeam and then knock you out with stun spores.

I don't know the priority of which attacks are used (of course it would fail miserably if they always used the most powerful attack at their disposal since you'd just get a Venusaur who passively uses Solarbeam and annihilates anything in it's path) which is why I was asking.

I know what you mean about pinching a dogs whiskers.... >.> I wouldn't dare. And I CERTAINLY wouldn't pinch a RATICATE'S whiskers.

Bugs/Sugestions:
016 - Pidgey. SIZE:1, but normal cats have 3. Er, Pidgey's are size of cat's paw or what? ;P Now I imagine that a delicate 'poke' of a thumb explodes Pidgey xD
023 - Ekans. Isn't his poison a lil too powerful? I mean, maybe only EXTRACT_STUN? But it's up to you.
071 - Victreebell. He got a list of attacks, and 'acid spit' is doubled! (look under MAXAGE (Copy-pasting from previous one, hmm? :3))

Waterstone - Why not Sedimentary? There's much more aquifers there... And then u can put Moonstone into Metamorphic :3

Also, just went back and fixed these. Anyone else noticing any problems?

The fun thing with MAIN attacks is that you can have as many as you like and it randomly selects one, sorta luck of the draw. This is the entire premise behind Metronome working, which has every single attack known to pokemon-kind set as a MAIN attack using it's hands. Clefairy is annoying, in this regard, because it could splash attack you, then hyper beam you. Ouch.

Oh, and another to note!

Pokemon have this weird habit of not having eyes/ears/mouths/noses. For example, Abra has no visible mouth, Meowth has no visible nose, etc.

But, really, thanks for your help! Let's just say that the first three pokemon took a leap in detail >w>

Arg, making body mods always confused me. I could just not get it. best of luck to this I really like what you have done with it so far.

What if you removed all non-pokemon things and then made humanoid Pokemon the civs. That way you would ONLY see Pokemon all the time.

But then where would you get the trainers?

Delete everything but Dwarves and Pokemon related stuff. Dwarves can be the trainers.

At the age of 10, young Dwarves would be sent out on a quest, carrying as many animal traps as they can. They aim to capture at least one of every pokemon and make a delicious +pokemon stew+.

On the raticate/whiskers thing, I think it is good how it is.  It's not like that evolutionary line was the most formidable, anyway, and I like to think that the whiskers are a vital organ (much like Dwarf beards).

Seeing as it doesn't have dozens of individual whiskers in the RAW entry, you could consider whiskers to mean the part of the face where the whiskers come out, as well as the whiskers themselves. At that point, a ratticate that lost its whiskers is a ratticate that had a very sensitive part of its face hacked off.
