For those with actual neural networks trained on various textual corpora, I'm curious if you notice any differences between their output and markov chain generators. I would think that distinctions (greater ingenuity for example, depending on temperature settings) would only start showing up with larger bodies of text.

I do like the idea of scraping the devlogs, I might have to try that when I've got the time. I've been building a tool similar to the Travestificator in python using the Markovify library off github, Toady's logs seem like a good target for testing the webscraper when able. Roboady One will have his day eventually.

A Chimpangoosus is for reals the best thing yet.

It is obviously a chimpanzee with a long-necked goose neck + head.

Figured I might as well put stuff from my most recent worlds into the travestificator, modded quite a bit since the last time.

21915 saurifiends
7415 blackers
554 demonarwhals
1289 crabbro men (gabbro made by/out of crabs?)
1725 warp sturgen
19483 vomit moons
11457 serpenguins
23 lamelephant giantain men
37 jungle men
10848 crabbite snakes
13358794 sea lamias
1525 voracious men
16 giant eagle worms
602 pod men
33 cards of flayers
5413897975 carpies (carp mixed with harpy, I think)
20872 thorn owl men
30 cock bears
1525 felbators
18 dire beards
9471981 nightmare crystal men
883078 roachnators
54146 vultuskox men
2282062 holy belle men
Unnumbered whites
786 rock bear men

Also, since I have notes for my good/evil biome revamp saved in a file, I figured I'd run them through the travestificator. Here's the results (level 4 and 5 travesties).

Air feet, can breather are dispy with dark spiderians of ice. No legs, pack presultiple, humanoid in the energrowths tails attaclesh.

Ice crystal "shamanoids harp ther skull-heads gus. Body - race - centals.

Spiritch-like havests. Proviness a lone tendrils, with credator. Wastely sabers.

Small vermin" - result of holy vine tendrils, numbnessed in autumn - with two spit.

Barely made outside some mouths. (sounds like a weird apocalyptic log)

Evil Mountains are just toxic, heads.

Icy blue giants. Have spirit entially can spring on then cutting on lords their nails with eyes with multiple arms of they use its upper body and dust elementals - hostile. Shreds with with extremely mored plants.

Ancient but magic-wielding treants of hair, on the grown half-giants that result of camounts that cause armore humanoids similar buffs when attacks with range, large, lower bear-like crystals.

Immobile, overgrown with hard frostbitten frost. Still alien-like other arms that conflict become. Lion-like provide buff period is from its of energy.

Enchant-looking fish, made out of ice - fur is coming tors, with icy-blue leaversion, them a rangely cent burning. More Swamp - Spell knock spiked world

Crystallic beings - large buff people. Warriors would by fruit.

Dog-sized bodies of frost on serpents are alien-like people monstrongers. Natural animal head)

Bodies are immobile troglodytes.

Feral crawlers - birds, with humanoids with dark, animate dead.

Grotesque beings. Appear as a debility bush predator, gliding clouds of eye sockets. Have shamanistic eagle trees. They are just cyclone bipedal heat.

Corrupted earth eyes on the arms, and scrater and have a dange faces. Has wateria, mutate in autumn - wild, with fungus.

Hatred consumabled leech, unless, all are a single teeth. Stabs can kick up food

Eldritches, with no legs - usually savaged race. Males and mutated, bleed body a stone. Non-aggressive, elemental bloodthirsty, have fish-like heads and leech, unlike slaves.

Demonic tissue.

Infested-overgrown with claws of hell.

grotesque human-like flies - responsible, can use visions

Trees with differ demon warping human-like strangers. Beasts.

Corruption - large, float - shadows of corruptive "void" blobs of birdmen - on serve two on its chains as glass.

Ice mammoth-like people. Warriors to crystals at the land.

Gargantuan ice hornet.

Minor demon whirlwind.

Insane, icy fruit. Edibly but hard fruit - Furious bites with a human-like buffs.

And finally:

Stone. Non-aggressive. (I'd be more concerned if the stone WAS aggressive)
