Ramen thickened with potatoes with added cheese and some meatsies and pepper and whatever-else-is-on-hand is pretty good. Not really soup at that point, but good anyway. Somewhat less messy.

Alas, neither of those are in my possession at the moment (and you can bet if I had potatoes they would be eaten), so I didn't really have the ability to make either of those.
