I was hungry, and I was looking at Bento boxes because I am buying one on Saturday so my lunches can be more awesome than silly bags.

And then I remembered a recipe I made a lot last year, 1-egg Tamagoyaki. I've decided it is now my favorite food. It is basically just eggs and sugar, with a pinch of soy sauce, cooked really thin and folded up and squashed down. It tastes like heaven, I love it. It doesn't have that weird texture of scrambled or fried eggs, and it tastes kind of like a pastry because of all the sugar (I mean, cake is basically eggs and flour and sugar.) It's totally worth putting up with protests of "ARE YOU MAKING THAT CHINESE CRAP AGAIN? UGH IT SMELLS TERRIBLE!" (B-but it's not even Chinese D:)

Also, I heard that the baby-supply store in my tiny town has some decently priced Bento-style containers so I'm probably going to pick one of those up (not sure how many separators I want...probably just the empty one, you can make your own separations if needed so that'd be most adaptable.) and then I'll head to the Asian Supermarket nearby and get some seaweed paper so I can wrap it around onigiri which are also great in lunches, because who doesn't like rice? (It actually keeps well in the freezer, and is warm enough to eat by lunch if it's Summer.) Then I'll just have to wrap my lunch boxes in one of the furoshiki that I made last year and I will be all set for happy lunch time.

They're composites, made up of several hundred faces of each nationality, to show you what the 'average woman' looks like in each country. I'm pretty sure there's one for the 'average man' floating around, but I don't know where.
