I have 52/51 hours of community service, and I paid off the last $400. Now I just have to wait fifteen minutes, drive to court, sit for forty-five minutes, talk to the judge for five minutes, sit for another hour or so, move, sit for another twenty or thirty minutes, give a little speech, and then sit for a little while longer, and I'm pretty much home free.

I'm happy, but some incidents last night sort of put a dampener on my enthusiasm.

Those are fantastic.

Fun fact: to get those cats to stay still for the long periods of time required for photo taking, those cats were most likely actually dead.

Making lolcats in 1870 was a lot more hardcore than it is today.

e: Unrelated: One of my courses this semester turned out to have been folded in with a graduate course, but even then, there are only five of us. As a result, the professor scrapped her lecture plans and is just going to run everything as a seminar discussion. As a bonus, she's a proponent of concise writing and has a sense of humor.

I'm afraid you've overflowed the community service buffer, and so have to start again from the beginning. Them's the breaks, Hans.

More seriously, congrats.

I love smaller classes like that, I feel that I actually learn more in a more intimate setting where we can sit around and talk about the stuff instead of listening to a teacher reading from a book.

What's the course about?

Also, yay, go Hans!
