I was reading a bit about states and their reporting of economic data, and how certain states like to shield inequality by not releasing information. The author came out with this:

Certain governments prefer not to let the Gini out of the bottle.

First ever commission done! Now, now I just wait for sweet sweet payment.

Obviously I requested payment in unopened trading card booster packs. This is how serious business is done between friends, yes?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I found a Super Metroid Randomizer hack (no link due to being a program that literally generates the entire ROM, but it's the exact title). So far I've played all the way through Draygon and I'm going to fight Ridley later.

The Reserve Tanks are in the same pool as the other major items, so sometimes you beat Crocomire or someone and get a reserve tank instead. As a joke about this fact and the reserve tanks' general uselessness, the graphic for the reserve tank was replaced with the infamous .

My brother was watching, and we both found that hilarious. And every time it happens, it just gets funnier. But then, when I got instead of the Plasma Beam (which I had gotten earlier, but no matter), it suddenly dawned on me that I would have to find the reserve tanks in order to get the grappling beam I need to get to the spring ball area, which may contain the grappling beam anyway (joy).

I also got the Gravity Suit before the Varia Suit and the Space Jump from Phantoon, immediately after finding the Hi-Jump boots in place of the Wrecked Ship reserve tank.

Does it randomize anything other than item locations?

I, too, have been repeatedly let down to realize that people are talking about something other than MechWarrior when using MW as an acronym.

Not so much remake (You want to keep an eye on Skywind if you wanted a remake) as a re-engine. So it'll run better on modern systems and is more easily modded. (I can't say if "easily" means it'll be... easier, so much as you can do more with modding it than you could vanilla Morrowind-engine.)

Just have to ask--why remake Morrowind (I don't know most of this and am only basing my information on 'Morrowind = people's best choice. Ever. And it's also sold on Steam.')

Also Skywind?

Because people still play it but it's running on an engine 12 years old. One that wasn't all that stable even when it was a bouncing baby code-base. And because the guys doing the coding wanted to.

Skywind is a remake of Morrowind using the Skyrim engine, with updated graphics.
