I read somewhere on the internet that "skyrim was originally a japanese game called doki-doki dragon panic" and I will happily accept that as the truth.
Batman: Arkham asylum was also originally supposed to be a rhythm game.
It makes sense when you think about it really.

I'm learning how to use the Python version of ncurses. I can make shitty boxes and move an @ around the screen with the arrow keys. There's no way to interact with the boxes and I'm sure something terrible would happen if they were to overlap, but I am stupidly proud of myself.

Haven't seen Frozen... but I just enjoyed this :P

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Wait, i want to disprove that so hard but it would spoiled lots of important stuff from Princess Mononoke.
Eh, I'd disagree with that view--the closest it ever comes to that archetypical plot element is when Ashitaka convinced San to help him with his plan to fix things. If anything, Princess Mononoke takes a very egalitarian stance; there's none of the traditional male-saves-female tripe, but neither is there a hamfisted girl-power-huzzah subversion. This is particularly clear in how the ending falls together. Incidentally, this is one of the reasons why I love the film: it doesn't play with the gender tropes at all, people are people and are treated as such, regardless of what fortune of birth equipped them with. Apologies for the vagueness, but I had to avoid spoilers.

Actually, nothing terrible would happen except for one of the boxes being on top of the other. But eventually there'll have to be a way for randomly generating boxes that don't overlap at all. TO SCIENCE!

By that logic doing someone's identical twin isn't unfaithful at all.

Yeah, and would you consider it cheating if your significant other did it with a banana? I think not. Therefore, my logic is flawless.

But why would you bother?

Perhaps your significant others' twin sibling convinces you that they were the one you married so that they can have sex with you, and then lead to hilarious confusion later when you complain to your spouse about the quality of sex they didn't share with you.

Come on, man, you gotta think about it like a bad romantic comedy script!

The image is technically wrong, but I still couldn't help but enjoy it.  And I do believe that Mononoke and Lady Eboshi are two of the strongest female character portrayals I can think of.  Both fiercely independent and highly capable, but also with their own personal non-gender-related flaws that still keeps them human.  I feel like Disney's princess characters can't even count, even if they're portrayed as independent, because they try so hard to be all "Look!  Girl power!" that they end up making them both exaggeratedly feminine and super-idealized and write the story such that it's completely about the fact that it contains a strong female character instead of just being a story with a strong female character in it.
