Know what one of the best parts about being a trucker is? Getting free stuff!

So I earn points at this truck stop I visit daily, right? 2 for every gallon of diesel I put in the fuel tanks. These points can be used to buy anything, at the equivalent of 1 cent per point. Considering the average fill-up is about 50 gallons, that's a dollar a day. Save that up, and you can do something like what I just did and buy an insulated 32oz mug (first drink fill-up included) and a bag of chips for zero money out of pocket.

BUT IT GETS BETTER! Purchasing 50+ gallons of gas at a time also earns you a free refill in said insulated mug. I've stockpiled a good number of these refills and earn more almost every day. As far as beverages go, I'm set for a good long while. And again, entirely free for me.

They usually come in through the louvre windows. And my "room" isn't so much a room as a bunch of furniture piled up in the main room to form a sort-of cave. >.>
They aren't actually squirrels, by the way. They're a close relative of squirrel gliders and they're apparently endemic to my area (Queensland Australia). The species is presumably named "squirrel" for their long bushy tails.
