I am happy because I got my coveted Gustin jeans delivered today. They are of good thickness and well-made, but the butt and the waist will need a little tailoring for them to fit.

You should see if there is a share link, I think you've confused the people of the thread.

Going to see The Faint tonight.  Going out of state for it and mom is watching the kids.  This will be our first overnight together away from our kids in all 9.5 years of being parents.

Downside:  listened to The Faint's new album for the first time lastnight.... it kinda sucks.

The wonders of being a parent: you are slaves  and your music progressively gets worse XD

We don't have cockroaches. Mice are abundant, however, and if they're ever caught (In a safe mouse trap with chocolate bait) They're released down a field and become someone else's problem  :D

Two or three years ago, back before I moved, we had an annoyingly uncatchable mouse. Until my cat, a female persian exhibiting no interest in hunting whatsoever, caught and killed the mouse cleanly in a single quick pounce. So, mice aren't your problem, your problem is insufficient KITTEHS.

Also, not cockroaches (I think) but we had an infestation of small (5x2 milimeters?) black bugs. And those fuckers were simply. Not. Killable. The only solution was grabbing one in a tissue and crushing it in half with your nails. They were so annoying that I started having a phobia of opening something and seeing a large mass of those things just swarming... *shudder*.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

So, despite how outrageously shitty the tournaments I went to were, and that I won nothing, I still turned a profit, if I care to sell the cards I got in my pool. And I think I might. So at least I have that thought to keep me warm at night, along with the seething rage.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I saw The Matrix for the first time.
I'm well on my way towards watching ALL the classics, and the situation has recently become very suited to this :)
