I like X aspect of the city
I absolutely despise most of the things you listed there, and I've never actually been to a proper city-city. The largest "city" near the fairly rural district where I live has about three hundred thousand people, an whenever I go there, I think it's too big and far too busy. Give me quiet country roads and trees and paddocks and sheep over highways and cars and towers and crowds every single day of the week.
I'm guessing you grew up in the city. It's interesting how one's upbringing affects what they like or dislike.
I think Descan's note is far different on the idea where you're poking :P ...Or am I too focused on the 50m+ heights or the extremely subtle details?
But maybe that's just me. Our city here is 'rural' enough to be a mix of both natural and artificial aesthetics. Long living pine trees interspersed by the road sides and the parks and the very obvious fact that one direction leads to a scenic view of the mountains in all their bluish depth and distance...then there's the clouds and terraces for farms. .__.

It's quiet here. If you'd ignore the rain. x3 Because if not, then its a very 'busy' city, that way.
I guess it's pretty "scenic" here as well, but it's busy compared to the country, and that's too busy for me.

You won't smell pee in Bangkok.

Mostly because your sense of smell will have already been obliterated by the noxious, toxic air.

Come to New Brunswick. Fredericton is like, half city, half rural.

Oh, and we have trees.

Lots. And LOTS. Of TREES.

I grew up and still live in the country, on a farm.

I'd rather die then live in the city my whole life. Even the 7 or so months I have to spend in the suburbs for university is insanity inducing.

I grew up in Toronto suburbs, and then Mississauga suburbs.

I love the heights and lights of the city at night.

And Toronto has a huge number of trees, as does Mississauga. There are some places where you can't even see the buildings behind the trees. At one place, in the south end, is a gorgeous stretch of downhill, curving road that's basically lined with dense trees, it's near the Mississauga college/university.

Indeed, I find that Canadian cities are more green then American cities. Standing on the Escarpment, Hamilton looks like a forest. Minus Stelco and Dofasco, naturally.

And yes, TO is nice looking at night...

From a distance.

Do sewers count as piss?

By definition...yes.
Em, no. You don't call a cup water, simply because it holds the liquid.

Why the hell would you make a cup out of water? It would only be useful in freezing conditions, and even then not very useful.
