Sad thread is closed so posting this here because a minor happy went with it

Checked on my bucket of computer chips and acid
Looked like almost nothing happend... I hope stuff starts happening or my science experiment is stopped at step one .-.

Happy, I got wear the chemical respirator mask that makes me feel like a fall out survivor..

Do you know what's supposed to happen, visually or otherwise? Some reactions are invisible, but still happen and you need to "test the waters" so to speak to verify.

Sad: my experiment seems to be not working at all... I have worked 3 months preparing and now when I acctualy do it. NOTHING
Sigh...

Was this the trying to recover materials from old computers idea? I can't remember if that was you or not. Anyway, what are you trying to do?

....I have a feeling this is not going to end well. Please be very, very careful, and please dispose of everything properly when you're done (down the sink is not properly disposing of it).

There's a reason they usually ship stuff off to china to be reprocessed, it's very dangerous and the chemicals involved are horrible. The amount of precious metals you can recover is also very very low (that might be why you're not seeing anything, there's just not enough to notice).
