Arguably he's already a progressive, just one in the style of an enlightened Kaiser.
I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

Congrats, Hans! Haven't seen you around in ages...we were actually somewhat worried about where you'd gotten to.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Is the quote your title? Go with Miscarriage of Justice. What can go wrong, he asked rhetorically.

The quote is the working title, yes.

Picked up some chicken nuggets from FastFoodCo M even though I always go to FastFoodCo W.  Just for variety, I guess.  They turned out to be half off today, and pretty good!  Certainly different.

It's weird, I think I look slimmer but my weight hasn't actually decreased at all.  I guess all the walking, hiking, and sobriety either gave me more muscle mass, or helped me be happier with my body.  Either way!

Yesterday being the exception that really does prove the rule.  Stupid sobriety made me get way drunker than I expected.  On the plus side, alcohol's going to disgust me for another few days at the least.

By sheer dumb luck, I managed to stumble on this song. We performed this song in my high school choir (and band) freshman year and won tons of awards for it, and I can remember the words almost perfectly now that I'm actually hearing it, but I had completely forgotten this existed.

Even if you found a suitable opening, I doubt it would prove all too satisfying. And it might leave some nasty wounds, depending on the moral high ground's geology.

Baffler likes silver, walnut trees, the color green, tanzanite, and dogs for their loyalty. When possible he prefers to consume beef, iced tea, and cornbread. He absolutely detests ticks.

It's 2 AM, I just wrote 13 paragraphs and 1260 words of straight steampunk bullshit and I have never felt more alive. Well, dead. I feel very, very, stupendously dead. That's probably not a lot of words, but that's like five times my usual writing length and I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow. Woohoo.
