I think that's partly how I got so many programmers for this game. The pitch went something like this:

"So I've got this 2D fighting game where you're gods flying through space, throwing planets at each other. Dodgeball rules. Last god standing wins. Any questions?
"Will Michael Jordan be playable?"
"Why the hell not?"
