We sold our dog, and replaced it with guinea pigs. 

This is a happy.  While I don't hate dogs (I even liked this dog), I absolutely hate caring for them and being around them all the time.  It was a huge drain on me, at a time when I'm already at my emotional limits.  Our kids were ok with this, because they just didn't like the responsibility.  And apparently a dog just didn't provide the sort of interaction they wanted.  It's also a huge source of moving stress gone.  We don't have to worry about the dog ruining this new place.

Guinea pigs make such pleasant sounds...

Another job interview on the phone Friday morning.

Non profit children's agency. The interviewer said he liked me and would recommend me for an in person interview. I do hope he does that.

Cool!  I took care of a guinea pig over the summer once.  T'was neat.
