Hip-hop's not really my thing, but some of the stuff from Behind the Front was kinda decent, even if most of the motifs were bog-standard. What little I've heard of their more recent material is thoroughly meh.

Sorta like the Clash in that respect, actually--except that the Clash were sellouts designed as such from the ground-up and just happened to make some good songs early on.

It's actually appropriate for punk, given that there's a strong anti-capitalist trend and groups that go pop-ish have literally sold the ideal for fame and fortune.

So my urge to place a space game had owls cousin recommend I try the demo of Evochron Legacy if I wanna try something different. I did the tutorials, then did a few little contracts while adjusting to the feel and pace of the game, I didn't think I'd be getting offered like, actual space jobs in a trading/space combat game like taking orbital photos or deploying satellites. It's kinda cool actually...

Plus it has the whole seamless space to planet thing and does it better than a certain overhyped game, for sure. I'm not sure if I wanna like, drop the $24 on it and really try it in a deeper way or not yet but it looked promising at least.

Edit: Fuck it, grabbed. Seemed good enough! Also bionic commando rearmed and the 2009 one were on sale so I finally have those again too.

I imagine you'd recommend it? Evochron legacy, that is. It seems alright, and I might investigate when I am in a space game mood.

So far yes. If you wanna give it a poke for free there's a demo on the website, lets you play the tutorials all you want and gives you 80 minutes to check out the actual game outside of the tutorial mode.

It is a bit more sim like than say, x3 or whatever though. Given things like fuel for moving/manuvering are an actual concern, plus the flight model.

Evochron Legacy?  Where is it?

After several months, Nordic Games apparently updated Red Faction: Armageddon to fix that problem where it crashes upon starting a new game.


It is indeed a subpar game and Darius Mason needs to be hit in the head with his own hammer, but I'm still enjoying it.
