Talked to my friend about DF today, finally.

Apparently he played about an hour and then got tired of the lack of graphics or GUI.

I'm continuing to bug him about it. So far, so good.

If you live until the stars burn out you'll still be remembering stupid shit you did when you were in primary school and thinking about how you could have done it better. Unless you don't beat the storage problem and it resolves itself by overwriting old memories.

I haven't even gotten a driver's license and I still remember stupid shit I did when I was in primary school.

But back on track:

The Shifter mod really does remove the suck from Deus Ex - in particular, I no longer have to worry about being stuck with pistols and rifles at "okay-ish" level for the entire game, since I can earn skill points at a much faster rate.
