So the power went out here for a sec about an hour after the finale of something I have been watching for a very long time. The storm that I'm certain was responsible was raging for the last half an hour of that finale (and the crashes of thunder only added to the atmosphere).

I'm happy because it kindly waited until after the finale was over before taking out my internet connection.

Finished the sixth season of Lost. Enjoyed it much more than my low expectations (from almost everyone else I know who has watched it) would have predicted.

See you in another life, brother

That sure is the Emperess's doggo.  For the record, if you aren't going to shrink the actual file, you can set a width attribute in the tag.  Example included.

Love GC and the active title changes :P

Alongside that, despite our horrible internet service and other things getting stress levels up (because can't do anything if the mechanics don't support action), I'm pretty happy about many things in general--like having been able to meet good folks for a lifetime on this forum! :))

I've completed the third and final entry in the Zoo Tycoon walker add-on I've been making for some reason.

Father? Do you mean the guy in the yellow shirt? Not sure if I should be disgusted or envious.

Well the world of anime has plenty of incredibly humpable tanks with legs, so why not star wars? We should all aspire to create the next generation of unstoppable war machines

It's pretty amazing how a hot cup of tea can soothe a sore throat - heck, a cold in general.
I wish I had some lemon to squeeze into it, but I forgot to pick one today. Although I guess I did kinda take medicine, too. Still, I think the tea as a big soothing effect on the psychological side of things.

I went drinking with my housemate and an old friend of his, had a nice chill time.  I walked home after two beers, playing Pokemon.  They got back later, quite buzzed.  And...

Guy was asking if we were looking for another housemate.  I almost blurted out yes, heh, went with "maybe".  I own the place, but it's still something to discuss first.  It's just exciting, because it would *really* stabilize my financial situation, and we have the bedroom spare.

I was picturing getting a stranger in someday "once things settled down", but I'd be a lot more comfortable with someone we know.  Even if they can't pay full market value.  But eh, housemate and  I will just have to discuss it.  Sober :P

I'm pleased by how surprisingly good Detroit: Become Human is. David Cage is still a hack, that's obvious, but the game is polished like crazy.
