I'm pretty pleased with myself today - I didn't kill myself yesterday, and I made a grown man laugh for a solid 10 minutes, followed by him laughing himself to sleep that night, all over a joke about a glowworm, and on thursday I went full Rowanas on a newbie to my favourite pub, and instead of clamming up and shitting herself, she left much happier and feeling more confident than when she entered (and promised to return this week).  Plus, I went larping all weekend and several important roles were written with me in mind.  I just feel a lot better about myself all over, and i'm hoping it lasts.

I greatly enjoy the fact that probably a solid half to three quarters of us speak different languages IRL but we all communicate quite effectively here regardless of differences.

You know, I hate unskippable cutscenes, but I have to admit that more often than not I enjoy Shadow of War's orc captain banter. In particular one of the orcs I first dominated earned my affection because right before he attacked me he went into a long winded tirade about the ecological role of ghouls. I decided to name the would-be zoologist overlors of my first fortress

It is not yet quarter-past nine (or ten according to DST) and I have already gotten up after a decent night's sleep, recorded the interesting dream I had, completed my better-than-nothing exercise routine and cooked and eaten a hearty breakfast... and I haven't even had a coffee yet!
Actually I should probably fix that last one. The amount of food in my belly is making me a tad drowsy, come to think of it.   
Here's hoping I can keep up this level of productivity throughout the day! I have a bunch of shit to do, after all.
