You have a remarkable understanding of the toddler mind, sir. He recently decided he didn't like chicken nuggets and french fries, which prompted me to check whether or not my son had been replaced by some manner of gnomish impostor. Turns out he's just two.

My dream, I thought it'd be out of reach. I've been real big d Depressed about this whole thing for the past couple years, but... I think I can get there. Even if I've gotta crawl there, inch by fucking inch. There's a lot in my life I worry about, but I think if I can just reach this dream, I'll be happy.

Hey man, without trying to belittle what you're trying to do, try to enjoy the journey toward the dream. At least if your dream doesn't turn out quite the way you're expecting, you have a wealth of new experience to draw on to go for the next one.

I've been super fucking sick for a few days, but I think it's passing enough that when I go to bed tonight I can expect to wake up feeling a decent bit better. Which is always nice.

Also have any of you played the Resident Evil 2 remake? It's reaallly fucking good.

I played the demo today, was very pleasantly surprised. Very smooth for what I assume is at it's heart a console port. I'm going to miss the cool camera angle aspect from the old games but to be honest they often abused it for cheap jumpscares (not seeing things the character should've been able to see, at least in the third game, which is the only one I've played.

So yeah, I never got around to playing the old game. Probably gonna pick this up.

The PC port has tons and tons of video options and shit and seems very optimized from what I've heard (Can't say for sure since my laptop is grossly overpowered). Capcom seems to have gotten their PC port stuff figured out
