Japanese saws are wrong and strange, pulling is only a benefit if you're trying to use especially thin steel without a spine, and plate thickness is only a problem if you aren't putting your kerf on the waste side of the line.

Also furries are just embarrassing as a human, not as bad as Thordamned fucking vegans, but could you imagine a dolphin telling another dolphin they're actually a silent one on the inside (what else would a cetacean call us, we can't properly hear most of what they say, and we can't even try to talk like they do) while wearing a pair of crappy looking fake arms they made by tearing strips out of some seaweed.

That poser didn't even come up with the idea, they saw another dolphin wearing most of a deflated sex doll and couldn't find their own, what a loser.

We know how much pulling you do around your saws Max, don't try and blame it on the Japanese.

The Sydney Road street party is on today.
A bunch of free live music in venues up and down said road, along with stalls, food trucks and presumably more music out on the street itself.

Hopefully I can stop being lazy and get my arse over there soon. I think most of the friends I tried to convince to come along flaked on me, but oh well there will be others there.

I'm a Texan, it would be a rednecksaw if anything, and holy shit I didn't even think about the possibility that most people wouldn't have a reason to know literally any of the differences between japanese and western style saws.

I 100%'ed Mario Odyssey a few days ago. I even got max balloon rank:

I may have cheated just a little bit on that infernal jump rope minigame:

The rest of the game I did legit, though, including Long Journey's End without assist mode or shortcuts.

I renovated my Linux partition on Saturday. It's actually insane how much lighter the Linux version of some things is. Streaming music from Spotify on Windows? 10-15% of my CPU, plus spikes. On Linux? 2-5%, plus much smaller spikes.

I had my whole system idling at about 20% CPU usage including streaming music off YouTube. It's crazy. Also really great because when you run a 1.5GHz dual core in $CURRENTYEAR, performance is at a premium.

Max is Texan? New headcanon get: Max is always wearing a cowboy hat.

(Cowboys actually wore bowler hats, not Stetson type hats. Weird world.)

Max is Texan and he likes saws. Pro-tip: don't accept the invitation to hang out in Max's basement.

I'm from Dallas, we run all the cowboy hat wearers off to Fort Worth on their first offense, second offense we send them to Oklahoma, which I'm pretty sure translates as "the place you go around" and makes sure there is never a third offense.

Also a full beard is all the head accessory I need, ever.

Fun fact: that handle cracked while I was shaping the blank so I set it aside for a while, later I drilled a hole through the grip section after gluing them together and ran a steel rod through both for added support. You can see the top end of the rod in the second picture, works pretty well actually.
