Speaking of setting up things. I reversed the furniture in my room back to how it was about 2 years ago. It's weird to have all the screens in mirrored order (I didn't own as much hardware back in the days) and I feel like I will stumble and tip over stuff for weeks to come but just because I'm silly: the room makes way more sense this way and I gained a bunch a' square feet. Tomorrow we shall try out the combined power of 5 speakers standing below a roofwindow that serves as natural bassbox, I hope I won't regret my choices 
. But tbh all of this superfluous labor started because my bed overlaps that window's gap by 10cm, as if a bit of sound refracted on a matelas would be more detrimental to audio quality than a bunch of speakers across a room attempted to be balanced as well as possible in an eternally uneven mess.
Now if only I could find a sturdy plank of 110x15 cm secure the bottom speakers, just in case I sleep capoeira, or headdive towards my bed but miss it very very toroughly.
That's not a very big board, if you don't care what it looks like but want neutral sound properties just check for a hunk of plywood scrap and put rubber washers on the back up against whatever you secure it to.
Could also check for pallet and scrap left at curbs or whatnot to pull apart and repurpose?
Though sizing and fitting an arbitrary hunk of material might not be as obvious a response for everyone as I tend to see it.

I'll be a lot happier about being able to use these easier once I get this big damn splinter out of my thumb, part of it about a cm long came out simple enough with some safety pin and tweezer digging but the rest I can't seem to get to work itself out yet.
