Of course not, only samurai and nobles are allowed to have swords!  That's just a... potato peeler.

Edit: A bastard potato peeler, named such due to being halfway between a two-handed potato peeler and wakiza- small potato peeler, and usable in either manner.  Definitely not for peeling bastards in manors.

I’d imagine it’s still a katana, I think “usually” should be placed between “sword” and “used” I copied the definition from Google. It’s a long single edged sword
