I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

I will admit to having sung this more than once to a confused audience.
Oh good, I'm not the only one!  No kidding, this was my drinking *jam* for a while.  The in-joke of the lyrics just made it more fun to sing, aheh.
Ooh, I forgot Cruxador uploaded this.  That's cool!  Simon has a Youtube channel also for DF music.

I love Dagger Dance, especially for tempo.

For story with illustrations of a fort report, Decapitated Camels

For more dwarven lyrics sung to a dreadful tale, with translation, Danger Room.  It's not the reason I named my first DND character Akur Neth, but it's a stirring tale of battle.  With a twist that will make you fear the night!
(Edit: Plus it's the implied followup to Tankard Basher, for some reason!)

"Did you see that ludicrous display last night?"
It's been years since I watched it, but I still read that in the exact voice.

One where I strive to have my mind inseminated with knowledge.

Edit: Also, yesterday I went to a writing club for students (they dunno I graduated over the winter holidays, so hah!). It was very relaxing to talk to people interested in reading and studying again. As I said, i work in retail. I had become used to conversations revolving around football (which I do not follow) or cars (I know they go vroom vroom).

Nice to talk shop again.

I mean, we did at one point sing the "old drinking song from Turku":

Ai ny vai? Ny!

("Oh, now? Now!") Yes, that's the entire "song", after which you drink.

There's an old joke song, of much claimed finnish origin, that goes just "Nu!"

Is Turku the Finland of Finland?

This is amazing. I hope for the best.

In my family news, my credit is good enough for us to find a house to buy. We're actually house shopping. I did not think it would be possible for me to do.

Maybe we can get one with the kind of friendly ghost that gives superpowers. That's probably out of my price range, though.

What made me really happy is that I just found out my old man did something he swore he wouldn't do, which was get directly involved in my house hunting experience. My dad has something like 40 years experience in real estate, and called in some connection to get me a chance to look at a really, really nice place that would normally be way out of my range financially. It's brand new, I never even thought about considering checking a place like this.

It might still be too expensive but I'm just happy that my family is actively trying to support us in this endeavor :)

Ah, that's how they get you. Never buy the best or worst anything. They're not economical. You want the second least haunted house in that price range.
