Finally got some shrimp food to land on one of their big rocks instead of among their gravel, and now four adults and eight babies are all sitting and eating in clear sight.  :)

I'm up to at least fifteen shrimplets now, so I'm really thinking this set up is going to get a proper self sustaining colony going. When lockdown lifts up I'm going to see if I can get more bloody mary's to increase the genepool a bit, six adults and their children isn't a huge amount of genetic diversity to work with.

Oh hey the local lake's cygnets hatched. Looks like all but two eggs have hatched, so there's loads of little ugly ducklings now

Heh, I'm in the brave new world of working from home now. It was fun for a bit but I'd kinda like to actually be back in an office one day.

But I have a feeling a lot of companies are doing the books and thinking about having this work from home thing as a permanent option.
