I stubbed my toe and shouted parangutirimicuaro.

But, well, it's the Rona out there, so it'll wait.
True, I guess one benefit of currently living in the middle of nowhere is not having to worry too much about that.

So, I bought 6 bars of bread and a little thing called toronto (chocolate ball with a single peanut inside) instead of a bar of soap that we need with our last coinage.

Why in the happy thread? It was worthy, every penny.

Smelly but happy? Hell yeah.

"bar" of bread, instead of a loaf?

Be forewarned Lordbaal, for many a man have been driven by their lust for bread to dig too greedily and too deep, and in doing so unleash horrors upon themselves the likes of which cannot be named.

The mysteriously dripping croissant can totally be named, though. I just named it. Don't eat one if you don't know where the insides came from, just sayin'.

Happy 20th birthday to Wikipedia, apparently!
It's hard to describe how much valuable yet inherently suspicious information it has given me lightning-fast access to.  As an element of my hand-brain, it is arguably the most valuable.  I like to kick it a few dollars a year.  It's kinda surreal that it even survives, and some of the talk pages are full of decadent amounts of drama.

A guiding influence on me told me about the site when I was in high school, and I couldn't imagine it working.  But here we are.  There's so much work that I take for granted, just keeping the site together, much less all the people like me or you who contribute and adjust it.

I'm not sure I'm exaggerating when I say it might be the most ideal store of knowledge we've built as a species.

It's not perfect, but it's there for everyone.
(it's not a source though, it's a place to find real sources.  My teachers echo in my mind...)
