Glad you are okay. (Making a huge asupmtion you are writing that yourself and not with the kind of device Hawkins used or a third person interpreting your blinking or controlled, morse code farts).

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

Perseverance has landed. It's working perfectly. I'm so happy right now.

Now, to fix my sleep schedule, since I've completely nuked it when I decided to use coffee to keep awake...

I'm finally on Yakuza 5. After finishing Yakuza 4, I felt that the creators were being kinda lazy on every aspect of the game that isn't "building up the main characters", and so I went into Yakuza 5 with lowered expectations.

Holy shit have my expectations been blown out of the water. Y5 has a reputation in the Yakuza community as being a fan favorite, and I can see why. Improved combat that fixes the kinks from the earlier games? Thank you. Incredible minigames that could be entire games by themselves? Holy shit. I'm just consistently being made to think "I wasn't expecting this at all." and I love that feeling a lot.

I'm not at that point in the game yet, but I've just spent all day playing Part 2's sidestory minigame and just loving every second of it.

stuck a buncha cloves in an orange in spiral patterns. Does it look amazing? naw. Is it a good first one? yeah. It's gonna make my office-area smell nice. And I tacked up a cloth so I can have a "Zoom background" in there too, and moved down my orchids. can't do math in a chilly atmosphere.

Looking through my tech piles (which may or may not be trash), I found an i7-870 attached to a motherboard. I dunno how past-me didn't notice this, but I have so many ideas for this piece of silicon.

I'm tempted to build a PC off this thing, and, like, install Gentoo for shits and giggles. That, or I could find a good motherboard, cooler, and power supply, then start overclocking the living daylights out of this thing, since this thing is completely unlocked (the "K" designation didn't start until the 2nd gen). World record on air cooling's 4.9 GHz. How high can I go?
