If I'm not mistaken (I'm not American), don't they give you a much more intense workload than the non-gifted kids? Take it from me: I fucking broke (even harder than I already did) when I was in high school, specifically because of academic pressure. Those were not good times. I hesitate to think what would've happened if my mom hadn't intervened early. Thank God those times are over.
