Cheerfully stuck UWU on a work related order form today. This is what happens when you make young people in pain choose arbitrary code designations that don't have any meaningful import. You get uwu in your company's workflow.

After all this time, it's only now that I've learned that there is a planar RGB pixel format in FFmpeg. It's called "gbrp". Apart from being a mess to type ("is it GBR or GRB?" is a common doubt), it's an honest-to-god planar format in a cross-platform program! It's different as far as the order of color components goes, but I doubt anyone's really checking that hard. It yields mildly different results for Paulstretch (I won't show it here because I'd figured that trick got a bit old; tell me if you want them), and almost identical results for image-to-audio-to-image databending. Observe:

Welp, time to make my databending stuffs cross-platform! Should probably just write it in a general addendum for command-line junkies/Linux users. I'm tempted to write a tiny script to automate the conversion process, but I'll wait on that first. I'm also now able to automate a decent chunk of my stuff with this discovery, so that's fun.

Hah. Joke's on you that any of my workplace superiors would recognize it :P

They also wouldn't care if they did, though. When I say that code didn't have meaningful import, I meant it. Most other vendors we work with don't even require the one in question, and it doesn't get used or referenced for... well, anything, on our side of things. And the other side of things... it's a company with more employees than the town I'm working in has population. If they notice, they won't care either, ha.

So, y'know. Making jokes of the code in question is kosher. Also idly recommend by the person who trained me, heh.

I hope so too, I'm supposed to meet my parents+brother&family this weekend to celebrate my mum's birthday.

Still not feeling anything in particular, not even soreness in the arm muscle... Yet.
