Idle checking to see if one existed led me to finding out there's such a thing as a rip rap groin(/groyne, in non-american english). I think I've come to the conclusion geologist are remarkably bored people...

Was randomly lurking a Diablo 2 subreddit when I found a post from someone asking if anyone could lend them 40k gold, because they'd just found a decent Leaf base, but since they were just starting out even with selling everything they'd be a fair bit short of the price tag.

I hopped on my computer, logged in, jumped into the game and got there quick enough to give the dude 100k. I know the pain of shopping for word bases, felt like saving a brother from the hurt of watching good RNG slip through your fingers. ...besides, I'm getting close to maxing out my gold stash, 100k is a piss in the ocean. :P


Feels good, man. Feels good.


EDIT: Or, well, it did, but then I checked the post again and apparently the shop refreshed during all this, and he lost the base. Welp.
