Oh  :-\ I couldnt flip all that at the midpoint when I wake up drenched in sweat (as I do 95% of all workdays and still quite regularly else) without getting irritated and making it difficult to fall back asleep.

Instead of wearing eye masks you guys could do what I do, and cover the window with as much aluminium foil, cardboard, and tape as it takes to block all light that comes through.

Head/neck/back support isn't a static puzzle best solved with sort of piece! You're better off having as many puzzle pieces as you need to fit your particular situation, which changes from day to day.

All fun until your head clears out as part of a line.

Love these vibes.

Pretty minor, but after two or three days of my gut feeling generally wonky, it's finally fixed itself.

No stomach bug or anything, just wasn't doing its job properly.

I'm generally settled in at Utah now and my relationship's in a pretty good spot.

I started taking my anxiety medication a couple weeks ago- generally less anxious now, which is really, really good. It'll be a couple weeks yet before my brain's fully adjusted, but so far it's been a really good decision.

Also, we're buying a van to live out of for a month in autumn to work remotely and travel up the California coastline. It's gonna be rad.

Pride in Salt Lake City this/next week is going to be rad as hell too, I've never been to one but it should be a really great time- maybe we'll make a few much-needed friends out here.

If you don't mind my asking, what're ye takin' for the anxiety?

Got my first non-underwear women's clothes.

It's a jacket, it's cheap, I'm not likely to wear it, and it'll probably fall apart within a year of barely doing so. That's not the point though, it's acting as permission to get more later because as ever the hard part is taking the first step rather than necessarily the bigger steps.

10mg, nice low dose of generic brand Lexapro. Anxiety still spikes from time to time, but general anxiety is down pretty well. It's been pretty good to me, minus the parts where I get dizzy quicker and my tolerance for booze is shot, lol. Getting off the stuff might be a bitch, but that's Future Me's problem, Current Me is going to enjoy not having constant anxiety that runs my life.

It is 89°F/31.7°C where I am. That's too zoddamn hot.

That said, it was nice to drive around and do errands with the top down on my car and my sunglasses on, wind in my hair and stereo cranked up. One of the few joys I have left is my car.

My hair too is thick and luxuriant

We needs must rise against the thinning ranks

Lest they take over

....

Some sort of mousse ought to do it.
