My book's subplot rewrite is done after 3 months. Gonna move forward now.

Depilatory cream works. Now I just need to see if the test patch breaks out into a rash or something in the morning.

If not, I'm gonna save so much effort on shaving. My thigh alone took 45 minutes to get all the hair off and even then I missed spots. Face is still an issue but you work with what you're given, and I've been given a good tool in the war against my jungle of body hair.

I am again going to lament that of fucking course the hairiest bald motherfucker winds up being transgender.

A way to permanently remove beard and moustache hair so I didn't have to keep shaving every few days would be very useful. I've grown it out in the past and just don't like how it looks.

Laser removal and electrolysis (? is that the exact word) exist. They cost of course but since they are considered cosmetic procedures I don't think there are medical restrictions to who can go to a hair removal clinic.

Ninjedit: epilated hairs also take longer to grow out than shaved ones for a not-quite-permanent solution, but the pain is real

Veeted my leg. Missed a few patches (The hair's brittle, but not brittle enough to come off easily) but I can do them next time. It stinks of egg and I am not gonna be putting it on skin I've shaved recently ever again because that sucked, but it's worked!

Yeah. Something that would be easy to do at home would be nice to have.

In that case you're stuck with temporary options, though some are less temporary than others.

You can pluck your whole face. That'd take an hour once you're good at it and is probably not worth the effort. An epilator would suck major fucking testicles at first, but apparently it becomes less painful as time goes on. There may be depilatory creams designed for the face, but I don't know. Final one is a home IPL, lower power than the ones at clinics so they don't do permanent follicle damage and they're expensive, but they basically burn the hair and are probably the most "permanent" solution out of all the non-permanent ones. Also don't work on light hair, and really don't work on light hair on dark skin.

Please don't actually affix red hot metal to your face.

... that said, scarification does generally prevent hair from growing back in the area in question, so if you brand the relevant parts of your face, it probably wouldn't grow back in!
