Got some stuff for my lower lip frenulum ulcer.

Now it doesn't fix it, and it doesn't completely ease the pain, but it *does* take it from "Oh fuck me this hurts if I move my mouth at all" to "It hurts a bit when I move my lower lip, but it's tolerable"

Thanks lidocaine gel!

EDIT: Made some ramen. Noodles, pre-made broth (Because fuck making that), pak-choi, eggs, shiitake mushrooms (Couldn't easily get anything more suitable than that) and spring onion.

Not the best, I could do better, but it's my first time. The broth could probably do with diluting actually, but overall pretty good.

Also the egg was perfect, cooked just long enough that the yolk had gelled without going solid or being liquid.

I MADE A FRIEND!!!

So, I went to a social gathering where uni students go to meet.

And I met someone. They seem nice. And they are queer too. We talked alot about of stuff and joked around. They seem like a good person. They were pretty cute too. Aweeeee~ Not romantically or sexually of course. They are already with someone anyways, they told me. Besides they are 17 and I am almost 21 at this point. So eeewwwww...

That leads me too... Well... They do go to the same university as I do. But we aren't exactly peers, per se? Sure, it is not like they are 10 and I am 50.

But is it creepy? Anyways I am happy about it but I don't wanna seem like some sort of bad guy?

I am referring them as they/them because I forgot to ask for pronouns.

That's just a difference of 4 years, which isn't a lot for adults. In one year from now it will be 18 and 22, which probably sounds a lot more reasonable. Well, you can be friends with someone of practically any age anyways, it doesn't really matter.

If you're not trying to get in their pants or usurp another relationship, there's nothing creepy about it, particularly since they seemed interested in making a connection with you too. Keep the age/experiential gap in mind when considering their behaviors, as there are surely life hurdles not yet vaulted over that you've put in the rear-view mirror already, but since you're not leveraging your age/experience to get something from this person, you're fine.

Remember the "creepy" factor for relationships:  creepy only if younger is less than (half older plus 7).  So 17 is right at the limit for 21 (21/2 + 7 = 17.5).

Halloween costume inspiration has struck!

The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon.

Simple makeup and all I need is a black hoodie and a top I can cut holes into to store spoons.

EDIT: Dissertation supervisor's a cool guy. Also I have the advantage that there's only one other person who can mark my dissertation due to its subject and he loves it just as much as my supervisor, which works out in my favour.

i'm planning to go as White Jesus for halloween; I just need a bathrobe, a box of wine, and a spare camelbak bladder bag and tube. Throw on tan sandals, let my hair down, grow out my beard a bit more, put on the camelbak under the bathrobe, fill it with red wine, and snake the drink tube down my arm so i can go 'this is my blood, which is poured out for you' to friends and strangers

i wonder if i can find a crown of thorns somewhere

You could get some fake barbed wire or use actual barbed wire with blunted barbs.

I did that once with Dutch carnaval. Instead of wine though, I had a bag and tube with red lemonade syrup. I turned people's water in to wine and got loads of free beers.
I used green fake barbed wire for the crown, with some fake blood for extra effect.

Don't forget the grafitti in Pompeii.

Some nicer stuff, like "We two dear men, friends forever, were here. If you want to know our names, they are Gaius and Aulus" and "If anyone does not believe in Venus, they should gaze at my girlfriend"

And then there's "Weep, you girls. My penis has given you up. Now it penetrates men's behinds. Goodbye, wondrous femininity!", "Amplicatus, I know that Icarus is buggering you. Salvius wrote this", "Watch it, you that shits in this place! May you have Jove's anger if you ignore this" and "The one who buggers a fire burns his penis"

So you know, people are people regardless of the era. The obsession with others' sex lives, dick length and shit is there forever.

Personal stuff now: Had a look at some wigs. I'm... not too sure on them. I've got issues with my own body image and I'm going through one of my bad moods which always impacts how I feel about myself, and even freshly shaved I have fairly obvious facial hair (Wonders of super pale skin and dark beard hair, at least laser should work well), but I got the nerve up to get it sorted so yay!

So, if you get a wig, or 5, would you be wearing them constantly?  Would you consider hair extensions or something instead?

Not constantly, and I'm pretty sure I need hair to get extensions. The issue is that my bald spot's got 7 years of damage, and suppressing my testosterone levels and minoxidil barely touched it aside from bringing the edges in a smidge.

I'd like to get my own hair some day, but I'll need to save for a transplant for that one.

I have fairly similar face fur and felt the same, but I've since come to the conclusion that it's probably not that super obvious under a more normal level of scrutiny. Of course if you're right next to a mirror staring into it you're going to notice the stubble, but it's not really that visible from a distance.
