Heh, curly was a bit of an infatuation for me when I played cave story.

First time I played cave story, in the cavern full of water, having to leave that bit of the game was one of the most heart breaking things ever to happen in a game.

I dam well made sure I did the second time through.

Although I got the good gun first time through. For some reason I didn't want to take the machine gun from curly, and by the time I could have got the fireball(?) I was too attached to the Polar star.

Heh, curly was a bit of an infatuation for me when I played cave story.

I had weird feelings about this for a week after finishing, and determined that she was more like a close sister than anything else.

I'm not really attracted to any fictional character in a medium I like, they always take on platonic angles to me. This is probably why I absolutely hate smut of anything I like.

I was on the edge of crying when Galuf died, so I tend to get attached to characters. Although that was some years ago when I was younger, but still.

The way this works for me is the more and more I like a character the more I start to reach the point where I love every damn thing about the character and every single thing they do.  I can't say it's romantic, but it's definitely platonic.
