Civilian service ended for me today.
But I'm too tired to post details. Maybe tomorrow.

What is 'civilian service'? Do you live in a country with mandatory military service or somesuch?

Yeah, he's in Austria.

I finished another German exam today, so I'm probably going to take the next couple hours off eating Russian candy and reading The World According to Garp.  Or somesuch.

Actually, I'll probably write some letters, because I know a few people on the interwebs who deserve to get them =)

Oh, I've heard it's very nice there. My aunt (a reporter) was over there last year for a convention of tractor manufacturers or something like that, said it was great.

Yeah, it's the alternative to military service.
Spent nine months working for the Red Cross, riding the ambulance.

Well, well. Looks like you'll become a proper Deutsch Fachfrau, Vector ;)

Digging through the trash at work today(this is not an odd statement), I found a bunch of interesting things. A few of what are apparently candy dishes, a few interesting-looking books, several notebook binders, two containing lots of computer-related information, one being what appears to be a massive amount of documentation for AutoCAD, the other appears to be a technical manual for an old model of hard drive.

All in all, an interesting find. Heavy as hell to carry home, though.

Soon, I will eat that cake.
Soon, I will go to war for that cake. My men are ready... I am ready.

I decided after reading a topic somewhere that I'd give TF2 another chance. Because I found my arguments against the game... Don't stack up when seen from the outside.

Shit. Lets be weird pixar people shooting at eachother

Went and saw the latest Transformers movie. Note don't bother staying more than half a minute after the credits start rolling as theres nothing beyond that point but credits.

It is casual work, amusingly enough. I'll essentially do bar work whenever they need a goon to move barrels and pull pints.
