Yeah. :) It made my day to make her day. Although I did have to maintain that minimum safe distance, she made me a little nervous at a couple points. But it all worked out great!

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Indeed. I always end up with a crush on people close to me. There's somewhat of a division in my mind about her though. One half is like, 'she's hot, and is really close to me!' and the other half is like, 'no, she's my friend, and I want/need friends more than the other thing.'
She knows this.
She also knows that I slept with my 'best friend' from way back when, and it ruined the friendship and I never want to repeat that again. So we're just friends, despite any objections hormones may make.

Hormones are assholes. On a related note, I met a really cool girl tonight that reminds me of one of my best friends, plus 4 years. We instantly became good friends.
