Agreed. That's awesome. Not as awesome as, say, kaiyak-ing off a roof into a kiddy pool, but, it'll have to do while I wait for rain.

That's nothing. I once kayaked off a roofie into a serious bout with depression.

kayaked off a roofie

Kayak I get.  Is "roofie" slang for something?  Because if not, I once bobsledded down a gravel road into a beehive with a bunch of drunk bikers, into a serious bout of injury and bad parenting.

Roofie is slang for Rohypnol, the dangerous drug that causes depression.

Yes, that was a terrible and rather offensive joke. You may now praise me.

Consider yourself praised.  But what the Hell were you taking dangerous depressant drugs for?

Dude, I got to about 'that's nothing', and then figured you had nothing of import to say.
It may as WELL have been a wall of text.
It is Fucking Kaiyaking down a Fucking Tin Roof into a Fucking Pool about two and a Fucking half meters wide.
I mean, the rain would come to AUSTRALIA, JUST so that something that awesome could happen.

You keep praising me for my arguments and I still can't tell if you're being serious.

I appreciate it anyway.

I know the Internet is a terrible medium for expressing praise, especially since so much humor here and of mine relies on completely indistinguishable sarcasm.  I'm familiar with the confusion.  So I'll say it point blank.  I'm impressed.

I've snidely and arrogantly thrown around my credentials of and love for proper argumentative logic and method, and your spirit is admirable.  It's just really refreshing to see someone on the Internet who can actually break down a dispute and lay the matter bare, much less gives enough of a shit to try, without resorting to equally inane bullshit as what you're arguing against.  Once again, I mean it, that was good, I'm happy to see cowofdoom put in his place, even if he's completely oblivious to it and no one else needed convincing.

I'm rather surprised how much that means to me. It's probably one of the first ten or so symptoms of insanity that you get a genuinely warm feeling when someone tells you how good you are at arguing over the net.

So thank you. Truly.

Just hang onto it.  It'll be a useful skill off the Internet too.  Not as useful as it should be, but people notice.

And take it from me.  That feeling?  That's insanity symptom number five or so.  I'll let you guess what another one is...
